We're having a BABY BOY!

We found out on Monday that we are having a boy! We just hope he doesn't look like this cool cat -->

HELPFUL TIPS REQUESTED!!!

Well...as we begin planning... we are getting overwhelmed by all the necessary baby items (many we've never heard of)...so we want to take trusted advice from people we know and LOVE. We can research the internet and find millions of reviews on different products, but as a MOTHER, FATHER, GRANDPARENT, AUNTIE, UNCLE, GUARDIAN...WHATEVER...what are some tips YOU would give us in regard to what products work best, what you couldn't do without, etc.

Just a note...we are in to more natural / organic products...so if you have any advice or ideas on this that would be great!!!

One Year Later

We were married March 2008...and it's crazy to think it's already been a year! A year of learning to share (space, thoughts and feelings, finances...and ONE bathroom!), a year of learning how to compromise and negotiate with each other, a year of getting used to his CHATTINESS and my short-attention span, his get-up-and-go with my very laid back personality, his sarcasm and my humor, his "gotta stay busy" and my "gotta take a break" mentality, and the list goes on and on!!!

It's been fun and challenging! We've spent a year learning, arguing....eh' em...I mean debating...and a lot of laughing! We approach the next year of our marriage with hope and excitement...knowing God has some AWESOME things in store for us!
